New I-20/ DS-2019 Request If you reported change of employment via SEVP OPT Portal, changed your major, or your I-20 is lost or damaged, you can request a new I-20/DS-2019.
Reduced Course Load All international students in F-1 and J-1 visa status are required to register full-time every semester. Under certain circumstances, the law allows for a deviation from the full course of study requirement. Please note that only medical or academic are acceptable per immigration regulations.
Program/ I-20 Extension If an F-1 student needs more time to graduate than is listed on the current I-20, a program extension must be filed. This must be done BEFORE the PROGRAM COMPLETION date. An extension cannot be done after the program completion date.
Leave of Absence As an international student, if you decide to take a Leave Of Absence or withdraw from your program, you must contact the ISS to discuss your immediate plans and any plans you may have to return. Please click “Begin” for obtaining more information and completing the paperwork.
Resumption of Studies When you decide to return to Pace after Leave of absence to resume your degree program studies, please plan ahead. You need to start the process at least 3 months before the semester of resumption begins for obtaining guidance as how to resume your studies and regain your status. Click “Begin” for initiating the resumption of studies process.
New I-20 for Second Degree If you have been approved for a second degree at the same degree level (directly after completing a degree program or after a period of Post-completion OPT), you must request a new I-20 reflecting your new program information. If you have been admitted to a higher degree level, do not complete this request – you must obtain your I-20 from Admission.
Add Dependent If a dependent (spouse or child under the age of 21) is going to apply for an F-2 visa to join you in the United States, you must request I-20s for your dependent(s).
SEVIS Transfer Out If you plan to transfer from Pace University to another US school, you must request SEVIS transfer from the International Student Services (ISS). Upon receipt of this request, we will transfer your SEVIS record, thereby giving the transfer-in school access to your record.
